We Love Our Community!Â
Â
This Earth Day, Colder’s is honored to have the opportunity to partner with Milwaukee County Parks and Ozaukee County Parks. We are thrilled to be able to help support the missions of these organizations and give back to our community. Colder’s has decided to have a portion of each purchase made from April 19th - April 25th, 2021 go towards supporting the stewardship of parks and neighborhoods in our community. This includes tree planting, park upkeep, and restoration.Â

Â
The mission that guides Milwaukee County Parks is to steward a thriving park system that positively impacts every Milwaukee County Park visitor. From lagoons and marshes to forests and prairies, the environmental work of Milwaukee County Parks is vital to the health of the region. Donations to Milwaukee County Parks aid in volunteer efforts and supplies needed to clean up and maintain our neighborhoods.
Â
Similarly, Ozaukee County Parks’ mission is to provide opportunities for Ozaukee County residents and visitors of Ozaukee County to appreciate and enjoy the natural and cultural resources [. . .] through the preservation, restoration and management of natural resources. Purchases aid in planting native tree species to increase biodiversity, provide quality habitat for wildlife and to help with the loss of ash tree canopy due to the invasive emerald ash borer in Lion’s Den Gorge Nature Preserve, River Oaks County Park, and the Ulao Creek Habitat Restoration Area in Grafton.
Â
Each of Colder’s four store locations will have the opportunity to impact the volunteer and park stewardship efforts at parks, of which belong to these organizations, that are most local to them. For our West Allis location, support for parks will go towards Greenfield Park, McCarty Park, LaFollete Park and Oak Leaf Trail. For our Oak Creek location, support for parks will go towards Root River Parkway, Falk Park, Bender Park, and Oak Leaf Trail. For our Delafield location, support for parks will go towards Oak Leaf Trail. For our Grafton Location, support for parks will go towards Oak Leaf Trail, Ulao Creek, Lion’s Den Gorge Nature Preserve, and River Oaks County Park.
