The Oiled Oak color finish allows variations in the grain to show through, while the Oil Rubbed Bronze hardware and bolt accents add to the industrial tone of the group. Multiple and unique bed styles and sizes, along with an array of case items offer up plenty of sleep, storage and study. Features such as USB ports with night stands add function aimed at today’s youth.
As the story goes Legacy Classic Furniture, Inc. began as three friends in an office with only a fax machine. But, that story isn’t far from the truth! The individuals that founded Legacy Classic Furniture, Inc. in 1999 had a clear vision, the entrepreneurial spirit to follow it, and the passion to make it a reality. They focused on creating retail partnerships built on trust, they offered innovative operational expertise, and they made quality their overriding objective. The result, over ten years later, is a respected company with dedicated employees that feels like a family run business. We are proud of our “legacy” and continue to work hard to strengthen the vision and passion that defined us in the beginning.
We believe in corporate responsibility and are active in the Furniture Industry. We are a member of the American Home Furnishings Alliance (AHFA) and the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association (JPMA). We are also a member of the U.S. government’s Customs–Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) program.
Additionally, we feel it is important to help our neighbors whenever we can. As a result we routinely support the following non-profit groups through corporate giving, employee contributions, material donations, and employee volunteer efforts.
To maintain and protect the beauty of your Legacy Classic Furniture, we suggest the following:
Positing and Placement
Do not place furniture over heating or air conditioning vents.
Do not place furniture in a damp environment.
Avoid placing furniture in direct sunlight to prevent fading.
Do not place plastic or rubber items directly in contact with wood furniture. Plastic placemats and rubberized feet on alarm clocks and lamps, for example, can discolor the finish. Use felt feet or other protective pads under these items.
Use a protective pad when placing hot objects such as serving dishes or when using a ballpoint pen on wood tops.
Cleaning
Wipe up spills promptly with a soft, clean cloth, blotting gently. If left, liquids can cause damage to the finish.
Remove household dust with a soft, clean cloth.
Clean with a damp cloth. A quality furniture cleaner can be used or a small amount of a mild dishwashing liquid.
Legacy Classic Furniture does not require the use of furniture polish.
Minor scratches can be touched up with Mohawk Finishing Product repair kits or other quality furniture polish/repair kits that are available at most home improvement stores.
